Latest Gamefest
The May 16th game fest at Tim & Rachel's place was fun. This time it was a couple of games of The Princes of Florence, along with a game of El Grande and a couple of games of Dominion.
The Princes of Florence is rated #14 overall, which is somewhat surprising. It was fun the couple of times I played it, but it really won't stand up to repeated plays. The winning strategy is obvious - buy as many jesters and professions as you can, maybe with a little prestige thrown in.
El Grande was good, but #8 overall? C'mon, it wasn't that good.
Dominion is fun because every game is different, because the card selection is different every time, so repeat playability is high.
Good times.
