Liberal Media

I'm about fed up with the major news outlets. I'm tired of the insanely liberal bias. And yes, there *is* a liberal bias. If you don't believe me, well, I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that you're a liberal.

Peter Jennings is the worst. In the last year I've heard him make several comments that made me wonder "what the fuck?" out loud. Take tonight, for example. Before the State of the Union address, he said something along the lines of, "Keep in mind that whatever the President says tonight, he'll be held accountable". What? What the hell does that mean Peter? One can guess.

Or I could go on about the Iraqi election. Most of the papers were praising it, while CNN's headline was "Violence Mars Election". There were a few attacks, true, but I would have to call the election turnout nothing less than very successful. When over 8 million Iraqi's risk their lives to vote, I think it's safe to say we've hit onto something good. But, no, CNN opts for the worst headline possible. We can't have successful elections in Iraq! That would make Bush look good, or something! Whatever.

At least The News Hour with Jim Lehrer is still pretty good. There may be some bias there, but overall I think it's a pretty even handed and intelligent show.
